About DFW Gaushala

DFW Gaushala is a Texas‑registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit devoted to the care and protection of cows through practical, consistent service: nourishment, shelter, and medical support in a peaceful setting.

In Sanatan Dharma, the cow is lovingly revered as Gau Mata—a symbol of nourishment, compassion, and selfless giving. Our service is a practical expression of that reverence: providing steady care, comfort, and protection so every cow can live peacefully and safely.

For families in North Texas, DFW Gaushala is also a place where values of compassion, gratitude, and responsibility can be shared with the next generation—grounded in community and lived through action.
